  • Rahvusvaheline meedia ja kommunikatsiooni konvernets  2025 ( 27-30 märts 2025  Tallinn, Hestia Hotel Europa)

Konverentsi peamiseks eesmärgiks on konstruktiivsete ideede mõttevahetus, samuti projekti kokkuvõtete tegemine ja üldiste avalduste koostamine.
Kutsutud on peamised otsustajad, sidusrühmad, kogukonna ja meedia valdkonna juhid ning projekti aktiivsed osalejad.
Edendada arutelu meedia ja kommunikatsiooni üle tänapäeva maailmas:
– Kuidas võidelda desinformatsioonikampaaniatega, mis destabiliseerivad meie ühiskonda;
– Tehisintellekti ja sõnavabadus;
– Ajakirjaniku / kodanikuajakirjaniku kaitse ning meediavabaduse ja internetivabaduse vahelised seosed.

Konstruktiivsete teadmiste ja oskuste andmine kaasaegse meedia kohta ning võimalike lahenduste leidmine, mis võiksid ühiskonnas toimida. Lisaks juba tehtud konkreetsele tööle lisab konverents teemale uue mõõtme, kaasates tunnustatud ekspertide seisukohti. Osaleb kuni 100 inimest.

International Media and Communication Convention 2025
(27-30 March 2025 Tallinn, Hestia Hotel Europa)

The main objective of the conference is to exchange constructive ideas, as well as to summarise the project and draft general statements.
Key decision-makers, stakeholders, community and media leaders and active participants in the project are invited.

By promoting debate on media and communication in today’s world we will discover:
– How to combat the disinformation campaigns that destabilise our societies;
– Artificial intelligence and freedom of expression;
– The protection of journalists/civil journalists and the links between media freedom and internet freedom.

Providing constructive knowledge and skills on modern media and possible solutions that could work in society. In addition to the concrete work already done, the conference will add a new dimension to the theme by bringing in the views of recognised experts. Up to 100 people will participate.

NB! Invited experts has added values for participants of planned activities as means to improve knowledge of Euro-Med NGOs and young people about how we could improve media literacy and empower peace building process in our communities when we deal for example with information wars, post-true society and digital transition, how improve of civil society resistance and capacity to combate any disinformation as not all methods what are good for European perspective applicable in MENA region. Also the opportunity to establish new collaboration ties and strengthen internal collaboration between ALF members will have a positive impact on all parties and event results.

The target audience is from Nordic-Baltic, Western Europe, Euro-Mediterranean regions – ALF members, CSOs, young people, community leaders, local and international organisations dealing with media literacy, academics, interested individuals and experts from public, private and civil society sectors.
