Launching in 2026: the continuing education programme “Notice, Verify, Challenge” on media literacy and resilience.

In spring 2026, a continuing education programme “Notice, Verify, Challenge: Media Literacy and Resilience Programme” will be launched, aimed at teachers, education professionals, and leaders of civil society organisations.

The objective of the programme is to develop participants’ skills in critically evaluating information, identifying misinformation, and understanding the impact of the modern information environment — including social media and artificial intelligence — on learning and society. It also aims to strengthen the capacity of teachers, school leaders, and NGO representatives in Ida-Viru County, Tartu County, and Harju County to recognise, analyse, and address disinformation, propaganda, and digital information manipulation through a structured and modular professional development programme focused on media literacy and resilience.

Programme Content and Structure

  • digital media literacy and awareness of artificial intelligence
  • critical media consumption and identifying manipulation
  • evaluating information sources and fact-checking

  • resilience to misinformation and psychological protection

The training sessions are practice-oriented and include discussions, group work, and case studies.
